A Full of Life and Fun Celebrant
I am a WA Perth girl who fell in love one random night nine years ago when my path crossed with my now husband to which I looked across the bar and locked eyes with a cheeky grin that to this day still makes me smile. That cheeky grin took me to country Victoria where we lived for six years to then moving back to WA soil, to a place that captured our hearts and continues to capture hearts and create memories for many people who are lucky enough to experience the magic of sunny Broome and the Kimberley.
Three years later, loving life in Broome and now with our little daughter Ruby Rose in tow, Toby and I are enjoying the adventures and curve balls life continues to throw at us as a married couple and now family of three. Broome is a place that has brought us closer, made us stronger, pushed us to relax and enjoy every moment life gives us and continues to provide amazing adventures and experiences that makes us as a couple continue to enjoy the million little moments that come in between the big.
I am a huge foodie at heart and for Toby and I we love being in the kitchen cooking up a storm and creating delicious meals. Nothing beats great company, fun conversation and food that fills the belly and gives you comfort. With my love of the ocean and living in Broome this for me equals perfection and creates the perfect recipe for a relaxed afternoon with the car parked on cable beach, watching the sunset with a drink in hand and cooking a barbeque surrounded by friends and family.
I have always had a love for weddings, if I could be that person who just stands at the back of the crowd at random weddings and is able to watch the constant magic and beauty of a couples love story come to life without people looking at you weirdly then that would be me. I decided that a better way to enjoy these awesome moments is by being that fun and quirky celebrant at the front of the crowd who gets to be the storyteller of the love unfolding between two people who want to annoy each other for the rest of their life because a life without them is boring and not fun at all.
People always ask me what is your favourite part of a marriage ceremony and honestly this may sound cliché but for me it is looking at the bride and groom’s reaction when they first lock eyes on one another, that moment where each face lights up with pure admiration, affection and exuberates a love that gives you goose bumps from head to toe. That moment for me is truly beautiful and unique yet something that never gets old.
Your wedding is your story and I am here to kick you off with Chapter one. From chilled and relaxed ceremonies to those full of laughter and fun I am here to create that vibe. If you are barefoot bandits who love barefoot bowls then let’s rock a barefoot ceremony (yes even I will kick off the heels and marry you in barefoot style) to those couples who love a bit of glitz and glamour or somewhere in between I will be there to make sure there is plenty of laughter, happy tears, fun and fireworks.
