Let’s Elope and yes you should totally take me along for the ride with you.
Eloping seems to be the way many couples are heading when choosing to get married. It’s the simplistic, stress free option that allows them to really enjoy this amazing moment as a couple, where they can be completely and utterly themselves and create a marriage without the worry or stress about anything or anyone other than the two people who will remember this moment forever.
The Kimberley and Pilbara regions have to have some of the most breathtaking elopement locations where couples not only get to commit to this amazing journey called marriage with their favourite human being, but they get to do so while standing surrounded by stunning scenery, from crystal blue seas where the tranquil ocean meets the red pindan of the earth to the unspoilt locations within wilderness parks where rocky gorge walks lead to heavenly waterfalls, to the sky where a seaplane can take you to locations that are out of this world and you actually have to remind yourself that you are still in your own country’s backyard, not somewhere overseas.
Marrying any couple is the highlight of my day but getting to marry couples who are eloping are moments that at times rock me to the core.
It’s the raw beauty of emotion that comes when reading their personalised vows to each other where myself, the photographer and witness are not even on their radar. It’s as if we just become part of the magical backdrop that surrounds them, they only have eyes for one another and they are completely dedicated to their epic moment of becoming husband and wife, soulmates, each other’s anchor and keepers of each other’s heart, to have and to hold, celebrating this unique love they share and ready to continue to create an amazing marriage that is home to a foundation of a beautiful friendship where being each other’s partner in crime is only just the beginning of their story.
